Colonial Agency is a distinguished organization that specializes in providing high-quality care and support to an elite clientele, and we are currently seeking a compassionate, competent, and dedicated Live-in Nurse to join our team. This full-time position is based in Edwards, Colorado, and requires occasional travel to Punta Mita, Mexico.
Key Responsibilities
As a Live-in Nurse, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to an HNW gentleman with mobility and activities of daily living (ADL) needs. He is ambulatory with assistance and uses a walker or cane. The client primarily requires full-time night care/supervision and already has a daytime caregiver.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Assisting with mobility and ensuring safety at all times
- Providing support with ADLs
- Accompanying the client during travel to Mexico and residing with him for several weeks during the winter months
- Communicating and coordinating with other healthcare professionals as needed
- Ensuring all medical and care plans are implemented and up-to-date
- Maintaining your CPR certification (as required)
Qualifications and Skills
We’re looking for someone with the following qualifications, skills, and experience:
- Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), Registered Nurse (RN), or Nurse certification
- Exceptional interpersonal communication skills
- Proven experience in providing high-quality patient care
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to effectively operate under minimal supervision
- Reliability, compassion, and dedication to the client’s wellbeing
- Current CPR certification
